The little town of Salcedo is home to hundreds of murals. Many are very big. Some of the long narrow ones posted here took from 2 to 8 images combined in photo shop. The festival where artists come from all over the country to paint concrete walls on public and private spaces commemorates the three Mirabal sisters who were killed in the time of the dictator. They have become important figures in the promotion of women's rights.

These are a few of the hundreds of shot I took that afternoon. I used the Fuji X 100s. Handheld, available light.
