This is a very popular place in the park to take photographs. We had to arrive quite early and were in fact the first ones there at about 5:30 am with anticipated sunrise around 7:15 to get the best spot to catch the first light. By the time we left around 9 am there were about a hundred photographers.
This first one was taken practically in the dark : Canon 40 D, 30 seconds @ F4.5, 22 mm with ISO 200.
Later the light got brighter and it changed the quality of light in the photos.
This one was 1/5th of a second @F13 ISO 100 - I didn't do the math exactly but it seems there was at least 500 times more light reaching the camera.
A short time later when the sun was striking the mountains I only needed 1/30 of a second. F13 ISO 100.
